A Bright Sunny Morning in the Ouachita National Forest

These were taken along a bike trail near Lake Winona  just outside the Ouachita National Forest.  There are many great hiking trails within an hour's drive of the metro Little Rock area. Getting out and seeing as much countryside you can should be a goal of each of us.

A Foggy Day At Woolly Hollow State Park

We loaded the dogs up today for a hike at Woolly Hollow State Park, one of Arkansas' best-kept secrets. It has a great trail with some pretty stunning views. There are several other entries on here about hikes at this park. Today, it was very foggy which made for some interesting photos. Hope you enjoy.

Sunset Royale

This photo was submitted by Angelia James. She said: This sunset seems to be fit for kings. The colors are bold and it was a very unique sight. This picture was actually taken February 16th, 2007 in Carlisle, AR. I was leaving to go out of town, and stopped to at a local gas station. It was then that I noticed this magnificent sight. It was truly a beauty.
